Aase Haugen Senior Services is pleased to introduce new co-directors of nursing (DON), Diana Sobolik, RN, and Stephanie Marnin, RN. Sobolik has been serving as interim DON at Aase Haugen, and Marnin joined the Aase team in November. “The co-DON position is a new approach to our leadership model at Aase,” says Orson Bauder, Aase Haugen administrator. “We are constantly working to innovate how to meet the growing and diverse demands of our community today and into the future, and this shared position will provide two strong nurses to lead our staff.”
Sobolik and Marnin each have more than 25 years of experience in nursing leadership with a focus on long-term care. “Both Diana and Stephanie came to us with impressive resumes,” says Bauder. “And both are very respected in the nursing field in northeast Iowa. We’re excited for the positive impact they will bring to our organization.”
