Aase Haugen Senior Services invites area children to join in a Halloween window parade on Sunday, October 31 from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m.  “Due to COVID-19 restrictions we can’t allow children in for our typical annual  Halloween event,” says Andrea Hexom, Aase Haugen activities director. “But we are blessed with big windows that allow our residents to enjoy the costumes of the children as they parade by and give a wave to all of us.”

The parade will start on Ohio Street at the Rivers Dementia Unit solarium windows, the children will walk around past the Assisted Living sun-room and then by the great windows of the cafeteria. “Our residents have been busy putting together Halloween treat bags for the kids,” says Hexom. “There will be baskets of goodies outside for the children to choose from.”
