A person in a white Easter bunny costume with a colorful vest entertains a child outdoors. The child, wearing a gray top and a colorful skirt, reaches up toward the bunny on a grassy field with trees in the background.

Aase Haugen Senior Services residents will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt for community children on Monday, April 1 at 10:45 a.m. at the nursing home located on Ohio Street in Decorah.

Children will begin the hunt at the solarium windows on Ohio Street. Volunteers and staff will be on hand to escort the children as they hunt around the building for eggs filled with treats and prizes. The route will pass the assisted living windows and end at the main entrance to the nursing home where children are invited inside to the ‘egg cracking station’ and to greet residents. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos as well! The event will take place rain or shine.
