Aase Haugen partnered with Walgreens to administer the first round of COVID19 vaccinations to residents and staff today, Friday, December 31. “This is our first step on the journey to herd immunity,” says Orson Bauder, Aase Haugen administrator. Staff and residents will continue to wear masks, social distance and screen upon entrance to the facility. “We will continue to follow all the government guidelines as we move forward, we will adjust our visitation policy as they see fit,” says Bauder. “We have had many families contacting us, and there are no changes in visiting restrictions at this time.” Families and friends are encouraged to contact Aase Haugen Activities Department to connect with residents by using window visits, video chat, and calling. Floral deliveries and deliveries of purchased food and clothing dropped off by families are accepted.
