Decorah Bank & Trust is supporting Aase Haugen’s capital campaign to build a new nursing and assisted living facility with a $100,000 pledge. Bank CEO Ben Grimstad stepped forward to support the need in the community, stating, “Nursing home and assisted living care is essential element within our community’s health care system. Aase’s vision to build and continue to serve seniors is important for the community to support. We’re pleased to boost their service through our bank’s multi-year pledge.”
Aase Haugen’s Capital Campaign steering committee has raised more than $1.5 million toward their $3 million goal. Sam Boeke, Aase Haugen executive director, says, “We consider it an honor to serve the elderly in the community and Decorah Bank’s gift – and every gift to the campaign – will make a difference for people who need our services today and those in the future.”
