As Aase Haugen’s ongoing commitment to provide exception care, we are pleased to announce that we will be switching pharmacy services as of November 1, 2024. We have engaged in a business agreement with Right Dose Pharmacy who specialize in medication management for long-term care residents across Iowa.

With more than 90 years of combined experience, Right Dose Pharmacy is dedicated to long term care facilities by providing pharmacists, consultants, technicians, nurses, billing experts, and couriers 24 hours a day, every day. Their expanded programs will let us improve and grow the pharmacy services we can provide in the future.

Aase Haugen will handle the conversion to the pharmacy service for every resident and tenant that we are or will be managing medication for. Family may receive materials in the mail welcoming them to the Right Dose company, but the coordination of medication will be handled by our staff and Right Dose.

Private residents will receive their bills from Right Dose instead of Thrifty White, but there are no other expected changes in the process. Veterans will continue to receive their medications through the VA system that is in place and will not be affected by this change.

We are confident that these changes will further enrich the experience of our residents and contribute to a thriving community at Aase Haugen. Thank you for entrusting us with your care, please reach out to our team with any questions or concerns you may have.
